Dr. Wedjene Mansour, associate professor in Microbiology in the Faculty of Medicine lbn Al Jazzar Sousse, Tunisia holds a PhD in biological Sciences and Biotechnology from the University of Monastir, Tunisia. Her research interest spans the general area on antimicrobial resistance with an emphasis on a one health perspective analysis. In her working group, they work towards molecular surveillance of AMR in a one health context. Their objective is to contribute with their experiences on research of antimicrobial resistance profiles and detection of antimicrobial genes in clinical and animal strains and in environmental bacteria isolated from soil and water. She has published several papers in international conferences and journals (Citation scholar.google (2022-04-27) Citations: 857, h-index: 18, i10-index:21. Articles in peer-reviewed journals: 33). She is a partner in several national and international research projects (CMCU project: AMR-1-health, COST action: ENOVAT, JPI-AMR-Aquatic pollutants: PAIRWISE, JPI-AMR-Harissa: ENVIRE).
